RARE S16 – ONLY 250 MADE

Peugeot 207 1.6 VTi S16 Limited Edition – One of Only 250

Something a little different from the usual Peugeot 207 – this is the rare S16 Limited Edition, with just 250 examples produced.

Peugeot created the 207 S16 to celebrate its success in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge and Kris Meeke winning the 2009 IRC Drivers’ Championship behind the wheel of the Peugeot 207 S2000 rally car.

Based on the 207 Sport 1.6 VTi, Peugeot gave the S16 a distinctive rally-inspired specification including Bianca White paintwork, a full RC Cup bodykit with front and rear spoilers, side skirts and rear diffuser, 17-inch Hockenheim alloy wheels, sports mesh front grille and dark tinted rear windows. Inside, the S16 was also fitted with a special badge bearing Kris Meeke's signature.

When new, buyers could even specify rally graphics inspired by Meeke's championship-winning 207 S2000 at no additional cost.

Under the bonnet is Peugeot's 1.6 VTi 120bhp petrol engine, making this an enjoyable and usable petrol hatchback without the running costs associated with a full-blown hot hatch.

With only 250 S16s originally produced, these are considerably less common than a normal 207 and make an interesting choice for anyone wanting something with a bit of Peugeot motorsport history behind it.

This example will be sold with 12 months MOT for added peace of mind.
